What are cookies?
When you visit any website, files are created, called cookies. They make your experience easier by saving browsing information. With the help of Cookies, you signed in all the time until unless you signed out yourself. You can also remember your site preference, and it gives you relevant content too. There are two types of cookies:
Are created by the site you visit. It will be visible in your address bar
Are created by other sites (you do not visit). Those sites own some content, like ads, images, or videos, that are visible to you when you visit the webpage.
How to clear browser cookies:
If you want to remove cookies from your browser, you’ll be logged out of all your websites as well as saved preferences will be deleted.
To clear all Browser cookies:
- Go to the browser you used
- Click on the setting
- Tap Privacy & Security
- Click on Clear browsing data
- Choose a time range, like last hour/week/month or All Time
- Choose “Cookies, media licenses, and Site data”
- Unchecked all other items
- Tap Clear data, Clear
How to Allow/Block Browser Cookies:
Some of the websites require access to allow cookies to use otherwise, the user is not allowed to visit those sites even.
For allowing or block cookies:
- Open the browser you used
- Tap More Settings to the right of the address bar
- Tap Site Settings
- Click Cookies
- Click On Allow Cookies
- To Block Cookies, Select Block Third-party Cookies
How to Block cookies from other sites:
To block third-party cookies that allow sites to show irrelevant ads, images on your website which is not required, uncheck the box next to “Allow third-party cookies.” You can allow cookies from the sites you required and block them too. Even if the site is already allowed on your exceptions list, still all cookies and site data from other sites will be blocked.
